Senior 3D Environment Artist

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for an experienced Senior 3D Environment Artist for a new mid-core MMO project. Our client is an award-winning mobile development game studio that delivers the best entertaining mobile games for over one million players.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?

• Creating 3D Environment Models: Develop and model various environment objects such as buildings, vegetation, furniture, and other elements that form the game space;

• Texturing: Creating (or using already prepared atlases) and apply textures to 3D models to give them a hand-paint appearance;

• Lighting: Work with lighting to create the desired atmosphere;

• Optimization: Optimize models and textures to ensure high game performance for mobile platforms;

• Working with Game Engines: Import and set up models in the game engine (Unity) and use engine tools to configure materials, lighting, and other aspects of the environment;

• Adhering to Artistic Style: Follow the assigned artistic style of the game, work according to concept art, and style guidelines;

• Interaction with other departments: Collaborate with other teams such as game designers, programmers, and character artists to create a holistic and harmonious game world

• English language - Intermediate.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?

• 4+ years relevant experience;

• Strong Hand-Paint or stylized texturing skills (Wild Rift, Ruined King and similar technic);

• Experience in creating game locations in given settings based on concepts and references, incl. in their partial absence; 

• Zbrush, 3d modeling software, Project paint software (3D Coat, MudBox, etc.), substance painter; 

• Ability to present  a portfolio with current work in the listed areas.

• Understanding the technical requirements of current-gen mobile platforms.

It will be a plus: 

• Ability to compose and supplement project technical documentation; 

• Experience working on organic tasks; 

• Experience in generating materials using substance designer.
