Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 9 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world’s leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.

Na jakie zadania (obowiązki)?
  • Create high-quality and optimized vegetation assets (trees, bushes, grass) using SpeedTree, ensuring they reflect natural species characteristics and fit the artistic vision;

  • Model and texture foliage with attention to botanical accuracy and visual appeal;

  • Ensure all assets meet technical specifications and real-time engine requirements, including LODs, wind animation, and lightmap compatibility;

  • Accurately interpret concept art and environment briefs to bring environments to life;

  • Collaborate closely with environment artists and level designers to seamlessly integrate vegetation into game worlds;

  • Work alongside technical artists to ensure visual consistency and optimal performance across platforms;

  • Contribute to immersive world-building by shaping the natural aesthetics and atmosphere of in-game environments.

Jakiego specjalisty szukamy?
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with SpeedTree for games;

  • Solid understanding of real-world vegetation types and forms;

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop);

  • Familiarity with PBR workflows and optimization techniques;

  • Ability to quickly learn the game engine as needed;

  • Ability to interpret and translate concept art into functional assets;

  • Understanding of LOD systems, wind animation, and lightmap preparation;

  • Understanding of modular environment design principles, familiarity with baking techniques (normal maps, ambient occlusion);

  • Basic knowledge of lighting and post-processing in game engines;

  • English level B1+
