3D Environment Artist

Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game development and game content creation. Over the past 9 years, we have successfully completed over a thousand different projects and have gained considerable experience in creating 2D and 3D art, as well as developing turnkey games. Since 2022, we have been a part of Virtuos, the world’s leading game developer, and have become the first Virtuos studio in Eastern Europe.

In particular, we have contributed to the development of popular games such as Diablo 2: Resurrected, Metro Exodus, Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Smite, Paladins, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, and Marvel Snap. Therefore our team creates high-end gaming content and games for various Mobile, PC, Console, and VR projects.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate 3D Environment Artist to join our team and help shape the visual worlds of our current and upcoming titles!

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create high-quality 3D environment assets from concept to final implementation in the level.

• Produce environment asset creation through the full cycle: sculpting, UV mapping, texturing.

• Set up assets and blueprints in Unreal Engine 5.

• Ensure all assets meet the visual and technical standards expected of a AAA production.

• Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high quality.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D environment asset production.

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5, including working with materials/shaders and blueprints.

• Understanding of technical constraints and ability to optimize assets for performance within UE5.

• Solid knowledge of game asset integration and debugging in UE.

• Skilled in ensuring asset quality meets AAA standards.

• Proactive and team-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• At least A2 English level.

Will be a plus:

• A strong artistic eye and understanding of visual storytelling.

• Experience with Nanite pipeline in UE5.

• Passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest trends in 3D art and game development.
